I’ve been taught multiple lessons this year that have rocked me to my core and one clear realisation I’ve come to learn is that life is not a movie.
It’s beautiful to think of your life in that way, and for some people it does happen, however in my own experience, principles, and core values that I’ve built over a lifetime have been shattered this year. Understandably, this is quite jarring, and I found myself questioning myself a lot. I felt scared to make any new decisions, let alone the right decisions. I had to build a new foundation built on robust values that weren’t reliant on external forces, but internal truths.
Like my personal experience of self-growth has proven time and time again, when things are going great, there is probably a harsh and important lesson that is sure to appear soon.
